Frank’s Food

Food adventures of a lifelong eater

I enjoy cooking. It helps to ease the stress of the day, fills the house with marvelous aromas, sustains our bodies and gives us a way to share with friends. I also enjoy eating out, whether it’s an elegant dinner in a fine restaurant or a burrito from a fast-food joint. Here I’ll write about the things I’m cooking and the places I’m eating. The dishes I cook and eat are largely vegetarian, but include some fish and dairy. I’ve found a great many

dishes are just as great if you simply leave out the meat without striving to replace the meat with a look-alike stand-in. If you’re in with me, pull up a chair and let’s get started!

Bear in mind that I am not a professional chef, and the recipes I present are not tested by a third-party test kitchen or expert food people. I generally recommend that home cooks follow recipes that are written by experienced recipe writers from reliable sources. More experienced cooks can use their “kitchen sense” to judge for themselves whether a recipe is appropriate. I strive to write accurate recipes that can be prepared by anyone with average cooking skills and equipment,  but you should be the judge of your own abilities and taste.
